Hello my name is Dorothy and I just want to express my experience about ACT. The ACT team manages to get a would-be teacher to stand up before a 32 heads strong class and train us to teach a class within days after the start of the program. The teacher-to-be is presented (and sometomes confronted, if not downright challenged) by a new (for most who've only been familiar with standard western teaching methodology), lively teaching method that may take a while to get used to, but is undenbiably showing results: the students definitely learn English this way!What I liked best about the ACT program is the general atmosphere, the versatile personalities of the different teachers, each of whom are walking treasures of expereinece and information that make them a joy to be around and listen to. At this point I think I can recommend ACT whole-heartedly as a place to quickly and effectively become a English teacher.

I feel the ACT course offered through CIEO here in Guangzhou was outstanding. The standard of training and tuition was second to none learning from the very best in the field of teaching English as a foreign language. The course more geared up to teaching young learners with less emphasis on the theory of teaching EFL and more focus on the practicalities of the trade, learning methods that evidently work from just watching a single lesson. The living facilities provided were better than expected and much was done from all the teachers on the course to make your integration to China as hassle free and welcoming as possible. This course has much to offer new teachers of EFL like myself and teachers that have years of experience. If you want to start a career or refine your trade teaching to children I would recommend this course to anyone who is outgoing and willing to learn. China rocks the bollocks, get here now!
